To me Austin was one quarter of the awsome foursome, it is difficult for me to talk about him without celebrating the Hudson -LaPore family.

The Hudson-Lapore family taught me about the kind of family I want to be. The respect shown by gregg and laurie to their children as they have grown into adulthood has been a wonder to watch. The warmth and openness that they have shown me, the broad shoulders that they have given me to lean on, have helped me through my most difficult times. They have supported me when i have been directionless and have made me laugh and cry often at the same time!

Austin had a quiet confidence that i envied. He didnt feel the need to be anything other than who he was. While i was goofing around with Gregg and Aidain putting lampshades on our heads and talking in stupid accents, Austin would be quietly taking it all in, playing scrabble with laurie or head in a book.

I am deeply saddened that Gulliver and Edith will never meet Austin, although his legacy will live on through them as I would not be the mother that I am with out him or his family.
