Another memory......
I have been intrigued about posts which tell me about Austin's cooking and love of spices. In my world of 1995 when Austin was 3 things were very different!
Austin was a self-styled vegetarian when I arrived in Chicago. Meal times for Austin consisted of 'white' food. Pasta (plain), rice (plain), tofu, Raman noodles, potato (McDonald's fries or hash browns were allowed!). He would manage a few peas (frozen), sweet corn (frozen) and grapes if in the mood
It was pretty difficult to keep mealtimes interesting for him, but he really wasn't that bothered about food (unlike his little sis!)
Austin just did not like flavour! I remember one day Gregg made him some Raman noodles and Austin peered closely at the bowl and queried if we could pick the green specks out of the noodles (herbs!!!)
