I have a lot of stories and may end up posting more.

Austin used to live down the hall from me in Pierce tower, so I would come up with alliterated ways to say goodnight to him while I brushed my teeth. When I started repeating myself, though, he pointed it out and told me that this game was getting boring. In response, I had to step up my game and create limericks instead, each night as I brushed my teeth. If they weren't good enough, he would critique them (although he spared me having to make up new ones).

This encapsulates many of my experiences with Austin; silliness was not only ok, but encouraged so long as it was taken seriously and you tried your best to be silly in interesting and new ways.

I love Austin and always will. It is difficult to think of specific memories because his presence was diffused through my entire life. Thank you so much to everybody who helped us find him and to his friends and his family for being so wonderful and supportive.
